Another new track today…Edmonton. It’s as close to the cesspool that is London that I want to get. A members night 342 is probably not the best time to have a first go on a track because everybody else knows the track inside out, so I was expecting to come last. I wasn’t disappointed! The average lap time is 44 seconds, so I was reasonably happy coming in at under 40. CS Karting did a great job getting 5th place with a 37.673, and Abs wasn’t far behind with a 37.9. I did spend a lot of the time trying to get out of the way of the other drivers so as to not spoil their laps, but one chap got a bit impatient on the last lap and after bumping me a couple of times caught my back end and put me in the barrier, leaving the chap behind him no time to react as I bounced in to his path. Quite liked the track, especially the upper level which has a nice slidey corner.
