Much cooler today thankfully. I’ve decided the best time to go is early afternoon, as it’s much less busy. Unfortunately work normally gets in the way of that, so I’m going to have to retire and let the state pay for me for a change. Managed a new PB, shaving about .4 of a second off, but still can’t beat that 40 second barrier. I also made a new friend in number 5. I’d been chasing him for a few laps and couldn’t get past him. He lost his back end at the bottom of the ramp which slowed him down, and I felt a bit sorry for him so gave him a little nudge to help him get back up to speed. He thanked me with a friendly wave, using one finger to signify he thought I was number 1. He messed the same corner up on the next lap and I nipped through on the inside.
