Went to Lakeside yesterday for the first time. Horrible journey there and back, M1, M25, traffic was horrendous. The track was nice though, CS Karting came in first with 44.17, and I was 2nd with 45.167. No idea if those are good times, but it was our first attempt at the track. Unfortunately they don’t allow you to wear your own cameras. They claim this is on safety grounds, but they are perfectly happy to let you hire one of their cameras (loosely attached with velcro) for a tenner. That has put me off going again. Back to Teamsport High Wycombe today. Our session was quite busy with some iffy drivers so we booked an extra session with just the two of us. I’m also getting slower on this track…seems to be a recurring theme. I’m back at the Dunstable track tomorrow, then doing a 342 on Friday at Wycombe again with the girls, where I’m hoping to get back in the 39’s.
