Wasn’t able to post for a couple of sessions because the SD card in my camera died, so I failed to record my new PB of 38.900. Had a good session today, only 3 other people on the track and they were all quite quick. I somehow managed to get my best lap on one where number 11 slid out at the bottom of the ramp and made me ease off the throttle a bit, so I’m sure I could have got an extra half a second if not for that. I then had a good chase for a few laps with 11, before finally getting him with a dive bomb down the ramp. He was slower in the corners, but a bit quicker accelerating away, so I definitely need to hit the gym and lose a couple of stone to give me a bit more speed…once I’ve finished munching the remainder of the xmas biscuits. I tried putting the seat forward another couple of notches in the first session to see if made any difference…and it made me slower as the handling felt all wonky and I started sliding everywhere. I put it back for session 2 and was much happier. Still missing the apex on the up ramp by a mile…I hate that corner.
