Took the girls to a last minute 3-4-2 session at Dunstable in the hope of picking up some tips, and managed to get a new PB and finally break the 40 second barrier, hurrah! I’m not entirely sure how, as there was lots of foul play from 2 nutters in karts 15 and 4 who were repeatedly ignoring all the flags and generally driving like idiots. 15 tried to take out CS Karting so I gave him a couple of nudges in return. He got black flagged and was given a bit of a dressing down by one of the marshals at the end of the second session. That seemed to have little impact as he continued to drive like he was playing Mario Kart in the third session. Kart 4 didn’t like me overtaking him at the bottom of the ramp and proceeded to ram me at full speed on the next corner, but I think it hurt him more than it did me. Still, I was happy to beat 40 secs., and am a little more confident that I won’t come last on Monday when I try the 3-4-2 members night….second to last maybe.
